MQ-6 LPG Sensor is a reliable gas detection module designed to identify Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), propane, and butane in the surrounding environment. It uses a sensitive SnO₂ (tin dioxide) sensing layer that changes its conductivity when exposed to combustible gases, enabling effective gas leak detection.
The module provides both analog output (AO) for monitoring gas concentration levels and digital output (DO) for threshold-based detection. An onboard LM393 comparator allows the detection threshold to be adjusted using the built-in potentiometer, making the module suitable for gas alarms, leak detection, and safety applications.
