The dust sensor is an optical particulate matter sensor designed to detect airborne dust particles. It draws air into a sensing chamber through a built-in or external airflow system. As dust particles pass through the chamber, they scatter infrared light, which is detected and converted into an electrical signal proportional to the dust concentration.
